Peregrine Falcons Return to Madison
February 20, 2026—Peregrine falcons have returned to the nesting box atop MGE's Blount Generating Station in downtown Madison!
Trudy, who is unbanded, was spotted last week. This is her 15th straight year returning to Blount for the nesting season.
A new male falcon appears to have joined Trudy this year. We are working with our falcon experts to confirm his identity soon.
