About MGE
Siting services
The Madison area has three locations in the Wisconsin Certified Site program. Properties in Westport, Fitchburg and DeForest have met criteria established by Deloitte Consulting, and these sites have key approvals, documentations and assessments already in place.
PropertyDrive is the premier online commercial real estate listing source for Madison, Dane County and the state of Wisconsin. Public users are welcome to search their comprehensive database for commercial properties for free, and members have access to many additional features.
The Madison Region Economic Partnership offers an interactive map of available business and industrial parks in the region.
Locate in Wisconsin is an online tool used to find the building or site type that is best suited for your business needs. Users also can find demographic information on communities all around the state including wages, housing statistics and consumer spending.
Financial assistance
Financial assistance is available to businesses whether they are just starting out, relocating or looking to expand. MGE's economic development team can help you sort through federal, state and local programs to develop a financing package that meets your needs.

Pam Christenson
Pam Christenson, MGE's Director Customer and Community Relations, manages talented teams within MGE that work with business accounts, residential customers, key community organizations and valued partners, economic development professionals, customer experience, and new products and services.
Pam serves on the boards of Downtown Madison Inc., Clean Lakes Alliance, Workforce Development Board of South-Central Wisconsin, Forward BioLabs, Madison Regional Economic Partnership, Utility Economic Development Association, the Wisconsin Economic Development Institute, Wisconsin Economic Development Association, Wisconsin Business Development, Friends of Nolen Waterfront, Destination District Taskforce, the Director’s Advisory Board for the Wisconsin Union and Tri4Schools.
Prior to MGE, Pam held positions in both the public and private sectors, including 15 years with the State of Wisconsin. While working at the Wisconsin Department of Commerce, she served as the Director of the Bureau of Entrepreneurship and Technology Development and the Administrator for the Division of Business Development, which housed the agency's economic development and financial programs.
In the private sector, Pam spent several years at the Wisconsin Petroleum Marketers & Convenience Store Association as the Director of Public Affairs. She and her husband co-own Christy's Landing, a third-generation bar and restaurant on Lake Waubesa in Madison.
Pam is an avid runner, having completed 14 marathons and two Ragnar Races. She also is a six-time Ironman triathlon finisher and Tough Mudder survivor.

Brad Alexejun
Brad Alexejun, MGE's Economic Development Manager, helps businesses looking to locate or expand within the greater Madison area by working to understand and develop solutions for their unique energy needs. Previously, he was a key account manager at MGE, supporting customers in the biotech, health care and construction sectors. Prior to joining MGE, Brad was a Production Supervisor for Hormel Foods (and consequently, he is now a chili cookoff connoisseur).
Brad serves on the boards of the Fitchburg Chamber of Commerce, Creative Learning Preschool, Wisconsin Innovation Awards, Leadership Greater Madison Alumni Council, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. He also is actively engaged with the Downtown Madison Inc. Ambassador Committee and the Madison Enterprise Center Membership Committee.
Brad has two young children who keep him on his toes. He also enjoys spending time on the golf course and is an Ironman triathlon finisher.
