Electric Snowblowers Deliver in Winter

electric snowblower
Some electric snowblowers can adjust the blower's power output automatically to optimize for heavy snow or to prolong battery life.

Features include extended battery life, remote controls and power optimization.

Today's electric snowblowers have features similar to those of their gas-powered counterparts with the added benefits of being cleaner, quieter and lighter—and they are easy to maintain.

Clean and cost-effective

There are a variety of models available to order online and to buy where gas-powered snowblowers are sold. Electric models are comparable, or sometimes lower, in cost to gas models and cost less to maintain with no need to purchase gas or oil.

Easy to start, easy to maintain

One of the benefits of an electric snowblower is a push-button or trigger-pull start, which eliminates the need for the sometimes strenuous task of pulling on a cord to start a gas model. With no need for gas or oil to maintain or drain, you can simply store it at the end of the season.

Special features

Some electric snowblower models:

  • Run up to 90 minutes.
  • Have LED headlights for working after dark—and heated handles.
  • Have an LED display with auger speed controls and paddles. This allows you to rotate the chute remotely instead of manually.
  • Adjust the blower's power output automatically, raising or lowering the auger's speed to optimize for heavy snow or to prolong battery life.
  • Have a steel auger that sweeps close to the pavement. This prevents a slippery layer of snow being left behind.
