• Badger Hollow Solar Farm, Iowa County
• Blount Generating Station, Madison
• Columbia Energy Center, Portage (planned suspension of coal operations by the end of 2029)
• Combustion turbines, Madison and Marinette
• Dane County Airport Solar, Madison
• Darien Solar Energy Center, Rock and Walworth counties
• Elm Road Generating Station, Oak Creek (expected to fully transition away from coal by end of 2032)
• Forward Energy Center Wind Farm, Dodge and Fond du Lac counties
• Hermsdorf Solar Fields, Madison
• Morey Field Solar at Middleton Municipal Airport, Middleton
• O’Brien Solar Fields, Fitchburg
• Paris Solar-Battery Park, Kenosha County (battery storage expected online in 2025)

MGE provides natural gas service to 178,000 customers in the following central and southern Wisconsin counties:

• Crawford

• Iowa
• Juneau
• Monroe
• Vernon

Population in the service area totals 510,000. 

Gas is transported via ANR Pipeline Co., Northern Natural Gas Co. and others.
