MGE Día de Fútbol 2025

MGE invites the community to join us for MGE Día de Fútbol 2025—a free, family-friendly event celebrating culture, energy education and soccer! Mark your calendars to save the date. 

• What: MGE Día de Fútbol 2025 
• When: Saturday, Oct. 4, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
• Where: Breese Stevens Field, 917 E. Mifflin St., Madison
  No tickets required; students can register for free soccer clinics online or at the event. 

This vibrant event includes youth soccer clinics led by Forward Madison FC coaches, hands-on learning activities with MGE’s energy experts and opportunities to explore electric vehicles and renewable energy. Students can hop on our Pedal Power Bicycle, ask questions about solar power and snap a photo with international Mexican soccer player and Olympic gold medalist Marco Fabian! 

The event also will feature several community resources and organizations such as Centro Hispano, Madison Children’s Museum, Maydm, MSCR, MOST and more! 

Benefits Beyond the Classroom 

MGE Día de Fútbol offers a unique opportunity to bring classroom learning to life—connecting students with real-world experiences in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), physical education, environmental science and more. Local community groups will be present to serve as resources for expanding classroom connections beyond school walls.
