Día de Fútbol 2026

Celebrating 10 years of goals, smiles and community energy!

The excitement of the World Cup is in the rearview mirror, but passion for the game continues with MGE’s Día de Fútbol 2026! We invite educators and families to join us on Saturday, October 3, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at a new location—Aldo Leopold Elementary School—as we celebrate 10 years of bringing our community together through fútbol and energy education.

This year, we’re proud to partner with Madison College, MMSD Community Schools and local organizations committed to supporting youth and families. This free, family-friendly event will feature free soccer clinics for youth of all skill levels, engaging activities, giveaways and opportunities to connect with community resources.

Families can visit MGE Energy Experts to learn about energy efficiency, clean energy, and sustainability programs that can help lower energy costs and create a healthier future. Partners will share resources related to education, health, recreation and family support services. 

As the excitement of the recent World Cup continues to inspire young athletes around the world, Día de Fútbol is an opportunity for students and families to stay connected to the sport while building stronger community connections close to home.
