EV Charging Hub
Electric vehicle (EV) drivers have a new option for convenient and fast charging in downtown Madison. Located at the intersection of East Washington Avenue and South Livingston Street, MGE's fast charging hub features seven fast-charger stalls from 50kW to 350kW and eight Tesla Superchargers.
The hub's DC fast chargers are among the fastest charging options available. Although charging times can vary by vehicle, four stalls will provide approximately 3 to 18 miles of range per minute – that means a 300-mile-range vehicle can charge to 80% in about 20 minutes.
The hub was created to help meet the fueling needs of EV drivers who live in apartments and condo residents who don't have access to charging stations at home. It also supports businesses with EVs, including ride sharing and taxi fleets. Plus, this location supports commuting and long-distance travel.
Use a ChargePoint or Shell Recharge account to use the fast charging hub and any of MGE's public charging stations.
