My Bill Pay is a quick and easy way to pay your MGE bill!
My Bill Pay is our online bill payment system available in My Account. Sign in now to choose paperless billing and enjoy all the payment options and features that are available.
Register for MGE's My Bill Pay system by visiting My Account where you are able to:
Pay your MGE bill.
View recent bills and payments.
Choose a new payment or billing option.
Sign up for paperless billing.
Sign up for programs like Green Power Tomorrow.
To Start AutoPay:
- Sign in to or register for My Account. New users need their MGE account number and customer name. Get this information from your bill or call us at 608-252-7080 weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Click "Manage Payments" button.
- Click "AutoPay" button.
- Provide a payment method and click "Continue" button.
- Verify your information and click "Create AutoPay" button.
MGE's My Bill Pay system allows you to set up text notifications when a new bill is available and when online payments are made. You are also able to make payments through our Text-to-Pay feature. To enable, you must be enrolled in paperless billing and have an active payment account set up. Sign up in My Account.
MGE does not send monthly billing information directly to banks or credit unions. The most convenient way to get this information is to sign up for My Bill Pay by visiting My Account and selecting paperless billing. We will send you an email each month with the necessary information to make a payment through your bank.
NOTE: If you set up automatic payments through your bank or credit union’s bill payment service PRIOR to Sept. 2021, you will need to update your bank or credit union with your new 10-digit MGE account number.
Sign in to My Bill Pay by visiting My Account and selecting the paperless option. You can update this preference at any time.
If you enroll in paperless billing, we'll send you an email or text to let you know how much you owe and when it is due each month. You can sign in to My Account anytime to see that information. You can also opt in to receive text notifications when a new bill is available.
You can make an online payment with your credit or debit card using My Bill Pay while logged into My Account.
If you still would like to make an online payment using a credit or debit card but have not registered for My Account, you may make a guest payment. You will need your MGE account number.
Yes, all of our customers can use My Bill Pay. To get started, just sign into or register for My Account.
