KEEP - Teacher Professional Development
The Wisconsin K-12 Energy Education Program (KEEP) was established in 1995 to promote energy education in Wisconsin. KEEP leverages teacher education, through professional development workshops and other opportunities, to improve and increase energy literacy in Wisconsin's K-12 schools. KEEP is supported by Madison Gas and Electric, Alliant Energy, We Energies, Wisconsin Public Service, WPPI Energy and Xcel Energy.
Teachers whose schools are located in MGE's gas and electric service area can receive a substitute stipend for up to $150.
For professional development and student opportunities, visit the Wisconsin K-12 Energy Education Program (KEEP) website.
