The Wisconsin K-12 Energy Education Program will offer a series of online graduate level courses in spring 2017 with partial scholarships available through MGE. KEEP courses help educators in all grade levels and subject areas integrate energy concepts into the curriculum using various teaching strategies and assessment techniques. Prepare your students to be innovative leaders while they gain 21st century skills to solve energy issues. KEEP offers the following courses, either face-to-face or online.

  • Doable Renewables: Renewable Energy Education in the Classroom

NRES 631 Biomass Energy Education Online

  • Course: Online (class assignments are in Desire2Learn Brightspace-D2L).
  • Required Dates: April 6 to May 7, 2017, with final assignments due May 14, 2017.
  • Course Fee: $150 ($437.20 tuition scholarships provided on a first-come, first-served basis by select Wisconsin Utilities to practicing WI PK-12 teachers.
  • Credit: 1 Graduate Credit from the UW-Stevens Point.
