Fall 2022
Dear Educators,
I hope this newsletter finds you and your families well during this exciting "Back to School" time. Thank you for your ongoing partnership in teaching your students about sustainability and the importance of energy efficiency and conservation, and energy in general, to our community.
In this newsletter, you'll find articles about MGE energy education resources, updates on student engagement activities, information on our solar arrays and information on an exciting family-friendly event taking place this weekend in Madison.
I’m also pleased to introduce an additional member to our educational resources team, Gloria Castillo Posada. You'll learn more about Gloria in this newsletter. She is one of our energy experts who is available to answer your questions about MGE and to help provide energy education and safety information to your students.
As we head into the cooler months, if you engage with families who are struggling to pay their energy bills, please advise them to call MGE to learn more about financial assistance that may be available. Our customer service representatives are here to help discuss individual needs. They can be reached at the following numbers:
English: (608) 252-7222
Spanish: (608) 252-7120
Hmong: (608) 252-7033
Please feel free to contact Gloria or me if you have any requests for resources or ideas for how MGE can better serve your energy education needs.
In community,
