More charging stations for plug-in vehicles are available

MGE continues to install more charging stations for use by plug-in electric vehicles as part of a pilot project.

Electric vehicle owners who drive regularly in our service area can join our pilot program and use any of the charging stations currently located at:

• 623 Railroad St., Madison
  
• 1221 Williamson St., Madison
  
• 1611 Aspen Commons, Middleton
  
• 3801 E. Washington Ave., Madison
  
• 5973 Executive Drive, Fitchburg
  
• 6825 University Ave., Middleton

MGE is studying electric vehicle charging at public plug-in stations and at customers' homes. The information MGE gathers will help us better plan how to support the future energy needs of electric vehicles in our area.
