Making a payment? Options make it easy

Online payment option through CheckFree®. View and pay your MGE bill online. MGE uses CheckFree, the Web's largest and most secure processor, to provide this service. Sign up to view and pay your MGE bill now at mge.com. This service is free, easy and secure.

Automatic bill payment. Using Electronic Funds Transfer, you can pay your MGE energy bill automatically on the date it is due from your checking or savings account.

Pay in person. You can bring your payment to MGE, any of its branch offices or several participating grocery and other retail locations throughout our service territory. (A processing fee of $1 per transaction will be added to your payment amount at participating retail locations.)

Pay by mail. For your convenience, we provide a return-payment envelope with your bill. If the envelope gets misplaced, please send your payment and bill stub to:

Pay by phone. To make your MGE payment by phone, call 1-800-526-5995 and pay using:

• Electronic check for a $5.95 handling fee.
• Credit card for a $5.95 handling fee (maximum payment of $600.00 per transaction).
