MGE's online billing services are popular, easy to use
More than 25% of MGE customers use our electronic bill presentment and payment option. MGE uses CheckFree®, the Web's largest and most secure processor, to provide this service. Sign up to view and pay your MGE bill now at mge.com. This service is free, easy and secure. Once you register, you will receive a notice each month that your MGE bill is ready to view:
• See the amount you owe and due date.
• View the bill detail.
• Pay the bill online (credit card payments are not currently available).
After you enroll, you will receive one more MGE paper bill. All future bills will be sent online. Other MGE payment options are also available for your choosing and convenience:
Automatic bill payment. Using Electronic Funds Transfer, you can pay your MGE energy bill automatically on the date it is due from your checking or savings account.
Pay in person. You can bring your payment to MGE or any of its branch offices. Several grocery and other retail locations also handle payments for a $1 processing fee per transaction.

Pay by mail. For your convenience, we provide a return-payment envelope with your bill.
Pay by phone. To make your MGE payment by phone, call 1-800-526-5995 and pay using:
• Electronic check for a $5.95 handling fee.
• Credit card for a $5.95 handling fee (maximum payment of $600.00 per transaction).
