Tampering with a utility meter is dangerous, illegal and drives up costs for honest customers.
You can help reduce these costs by notifying MGE if you see or hear about someone other than an MGE-authorized employee working on a meter, bragging about bypassing the meter or if you believe a meter has been altered.
