Automatic bill payment. Using Electronic Funds Transfer, you can pay your MGE energy bill automatically on the date it is due from your checking or savings account.

Pay by mail. For your convenience, we provide a return-payment envelope with your bill. If the envelope gets misplaced, please send your payment and bill stub to:

Online payment option through CheckFree®. View and pay your MGE bill online. MGE uses CheckFree, the Web's largest and most secure payment processor, to provide this Sign up to view and pay your MGE bill now at www.mge.com. This service is free, easy and
secure.

Pay by phone. To make your MGE payment by phone, call 1-800-526-5995 and pay your energy bill using:
• Electronic check for a $5.95 handling fee.
• Credit card for a $5.95 handling fee (maximum payment of $600 per transaction).

Pay in person. You can bring your payment to MGE at our main office at 133 S. Blair St. in Madison or our branch offices in Prairie du Chien, Elroy or Viroqua.

You may also pay at several retail locations in the Madison metropolitan area. A $1 per transaction fee applies at these new retail locations, many of which are open extended hours, seven days a week.
