Natural Gas Piping Service
For MGE customers who already have natural gas service, MGE will:
- Install natural gas piping.
- Install gas fireplace log kits.
- Disconnect, relocate and connect gas appliances and natural gas grills, installing gas piping as needed.
- Disconnect gas appliances when you need to move them for remodeling or relocation.
- Connect gas appliances when you finish remodeling or have just moved in.
- Provide free estimates for your proposed work.
Call your plumber or heating contractor for natural gas piping for new construction or extensive remodeling projects.
Current MGE labor charges (effective May 2011)
Weekdays
$80.25 for the first 1/2 hour
$26.75 for each 1/4 hour thereafter
All other times
$133.75 for the first hour
$107.00 for each hour beyond the first hour
Prices are listed for each service technician from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Premium rates will be applied during all other times.
