Track your carbon footprint at CO2gether

With the 40th anniversary of Earth Day coming up on April 22, now might be a good time to think about what kind of an impact we will leave on this earth. The everyday things we do in our life contribute to climate change. What's your carbon imprint?

A local Web site provides people in south-central Wisconsin with the tools to calculate your carbon footprint. CO2gether allows you to track your emissions, journal your actions, participate in discussion groups and reduce your carbon footprint. It automatically loads the gas and electric use for MGE customers into the calculations. (This is a big advantage over other Green House Gas tracking sites.) The site was developed by 1000 Friends of Wisconsin, MGE and UW-Madison Center for Sustainability and the Global Environment (SAGE).

Visit CO2together to track your carbon footprint and find out what you can do to change the world.
