Visit the Overture Center for the Arts, a world-class performing and visual arts facility in downtown Madison, housing Overture Hall, the Capitol Theatre and the Playhouse. The Bartell Theatre is home for the Madison Theatre Guild, the Strollers Theatre, the Mercury Players and others. And, we are less than an hour from the famous American Players Theatre in rural Spring Green.
Enjoy our outdoor Concerts on the Square and other performances by the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, the Madison Symphony, the Madison Symphony Chorus and the UW marching band. The Madison Jazz Society hosts an annual Capitol City Fest. Madison is home to a large variety of bands of many music styles.
