Start the Shared Savings Process

Your account manager walks you through the process.

  1. Contact your MGE account manager. If you do not have an account manager, contact Bob Criscione at 252-4795 (talksbiz@mge.com) who will assign a representative to work with you.
  2. Your account manager will review the energy-saving benefits of the improvements you are considering or you can have your contractor or vendor do this for you.
  3. We will prepare financing options to match your project's estimated savings, working with you to find a configuration that best suits you.
  4. We do a credit check. It may range from a simple review of your utility payment history to more thorough due diligence, depending on the size and complexity of your project. Your account manager will tell you what information you need to provide.
  5. Your account manager gathers the necessary information from you and prepares a draft financing agreement for your review.
  6. If acceptable to you, we'll finalize the documents for you to sign.
  7. With financing now in place, you instruct your contractor to proceed with the work.
  8. MGE will release funds as you tell us you need them.
