Shared Savings

How it works

• Use a Shared Savings loan from MGE to finance energy and money-saving improvements to your business. Shared Savings pays the up-front project costs.
• The money saved from these improvements generally offsets the cost of repaying the money provided by MGE.
• You avoid out-of-pocket expenses.
• After MGE funds are repaid, you receive the entire savings benefit generated by the improvements.

Loans at market rate

• Interest rates are fixed for one year then adjusted with the prime rate every year on May 1.
• Projects over $5,000 qualify.
• Terms up to 10 years.
