Madison Gas and Electric may sell power and energy to wholesale customers from time to time in accordance with and subject to the terms and conditions contained in the company's FERC Market-Based Sales Tariff.

Our goal is to provide both our customers and MGE a wide range of flexibility in structuring transactions that are mutually beneficial. These include:

  • Negotiable degree of firmness.
  • Variable capacity charges.
  • Variable time durations.

MGE offers:

  • Negotiated capacity.
  • General-purpose energy.
  • Operating reserve service.
  • Emergency energy.
