Special situations can call for special resources, support
Special circumstances—life-sustaining equipment. If you or someone in your family requires electrical life-support equipment, MGE wants to know.
Call to request our Medical Equipment Certification Form or download from mge.com/certform. Once you return it, MGE will record your medical need for electrical service. We'll attempt to contact you when planning work that could affect your electricity.
Third-Party Notification. Do you have a special situation that could result in hardship if service is interrupted due to an unpaid bill? You may want to name a third party—a friend, relative, church, community group or public agency. This party can help look for the cause of your payment difficulty—but would not be responsible for the bill.
MGE Energy Fund. Created to help ensure needy area families and individuals have money to pay for their heat. Last year, the fund received more than $115,000 in donations. This helped about 350 area families keep warm.
The Community Pages. Free Web sites for nonprofit organizations and services in Dane County and adjacent counties. Online at http://communities.madison.com. MGE's sponsorship enables nonprofit groups to reach more people.
