Shared Savings reduces costs for Light Haus

Steve Melahn, at Light Haus, improved HVAC efficiency with MGE Shared Savings.

Light Haus art glass studio, 1921 Freeport Road in Madison, used Shared Savings to replace older air-handling units, furnaces and condensing units with new energy-saving models. The new equipment is 25% to 30% more efficient and should save about $400 a year in utility costs.

MGE's Shared Savings loan program can help your business make energy-saving improvements without affecting working capital or existing credit lines.

The loan is repaid over time using the savings generated from reduced energy expenses. No up-front investment is needed. Projects can include unexpected replacements or planned improvements of $5,000 or more.

To learn more, call 252-7007 and ask for a business account manager.
