Building retrocommissioning improves comfort and saves thousands of dollars

The numbers were telling Mark Jensen that something wasn't right at the Wisconsin Physicians Service Insurance Corporation's Corporate Center building. "Complaints about comfort were above average, and the square foot utility costs were high compared to our other buildings," said Jensen, vice president of business and office services for WPS.

The building should be the company's best performing facility. It has the most up-to-date control system, and WPS staff worked hard to deliver comfortable building temps and air quality. But the employee feedback and high utility bills proved something was amiss.

Learn how retrocommissioning helped WPS reduce energy costs.
